Via Ferrata Engelberg
Engelberg offers different Via Ferratas of various difficulties. There is something for everyone from family climbing to adventurous full day climbs!
What to expect?
Brunnistöckli/Zittergrat
The easy but fun via ferrata on Brunni which is ideal for beginners and families. For those in the group who want a challenge it’s easy to combine with the steeper Zittergrat to get the adrenaline flowing!
Rigidalstock
A beautiful top with stunning views that you get to enjoy by climbing a great via ferrata, what’s not to like?! Rigidalstock via ferrata is for those who want to do their first longer climb but also for the adventurous since there are two different via ferratas that take you to the top. Choose the one that suits you the best! These via ferratas can also be combined with a climb over Brunnistöckli via ferrata first.
Graustock
A via ferrata with astonishing views with steeper passages in the mix. Interesting for people who already have done another fairly difficult via ferrata. A great combination of via ferrata and alpine climbing feeling!
Fürenwand
Here you are put to the test! You’ll need experience from previous via ferratas, power, endurance and mental strength to climb this over 500 meter wall. Almost needless to say, it’s breathtaking!
Tälli
The first established via ferrata in Switzerland needs to be on your to-do list! A complete mountain experience with breathtaking views of Bernese Alps. Never too demanding, long and historical are the keywords to describe this adventure!
